Hello people, this is just a friendly reminder that the show with Hit Society is Saturday, February 11th at the I-rock in Detroit. Unfortunatley, that cold I mentioned a couple blogs back, almost disappeared, but then came back on stronger than ever! So I am very sick right now. That didn't stop me from recording a couple new songs today. Sometimes working on stuff can take your mind off being sick. I have been thinking about things a lot lately, and I think it might be time to say goodbye to the YMCA, I am thinking about quitting. I want to be free so I can visit my friends in New York. I am at odds right now. I feel like Michigan is the worst environment for creative types like myself. Well, maybe not ALL of Michigan, but rural Michigan. Yes I am thinking about leaving. Hey people, I am now done with Christmas! (I am sure most of you guys are too!) Yesterday I bought a very good cd called "The Best of Chuck Berry: the Millenium Collection". Hey people! I hope everyone is having a decent Christmas Eve! I still have one donut leftover for Santa. I posted a little video I made of myself playing guitar in the garage. I bought the camera today at Family Dollar, it was 10 dollars off from 30, so it was only 20 bucks! I hope it turns out to be a good investment. It was a last minute purchase. I did have fun learning how to use it today. Maybe I'll get my brother to help me shoot a video. I don't know though, I don't think many people at all watched it. hehe he he he he. I am not sure if I will be hanging with my friend  tonight. My stupid older sister is having her BF over tonight. Why does she always have to ruin everything? Hello people, my family is fighting on Christmas Eve! At least I got some donuts from Jerry's Market today. My cold, the symptoms changed a little bit this morning, but I think they are only a little worse. I am trying to trick myself into not being sick. The good news is that my guitar sounds pretty good in the garage, it is very cold out there though. I am sorry if I missed hanging out with anyone last night (walter), I decided to stay in bed and try to get over the cold. It really is no big deal, it could be soooo much worse. The last time I was sick, was strangely, last Christmas! I might be hanging out with my good friend later on tonight. Hello people. Brandon and I checked out a recording studio last night. It was very cool. Then we went to Tim Hortons and got a little something to drink. After that, I spied on all the bands who recorded at GBS studios by watching their videos. Right now I think I may be getting sick. I have been doing a lot of running around lately. Today I set up my guitar amp in the garage and practiced. It was cold. Sometimes I just don't know what to do with myself! I hope everyone has a merry Christmas! I will most likely be going over to my grandmothers Christmas day. That means no smoking cigarettes. Hello people, Last night's gig went very well indeed. I was tempted to do a doogie Howser and blog about it when I finally got home around 4 am (I got lost). Avery nice gentleman named Dean bought the whole Bad Mics band, two rounds of drinks, and a very fine gentleman named James bought me one as well. So, I didn't exactly stick to the no alcohol plan I outlined hours before the gig. I am sorry if I disapointed you. Unfortunatley I have to alert everyone to some bad news. As you know, my cat phoofie wasn't invited to perform at the Mods in Toyland Christmas Spectacular on December 17th. He was so dissapointed that he took a shit in the computer room, and I have been looking for the shit for days, but I can't find it. I have a scented candle burning right now. One of the keys to a stress free life style is having a sense of self-respect for who YOU are as a person. This means you can avoid validating yourself on the opinion of others, which is often what causes a lot of stress in people's social lives! Having a good social life can be one of life's pleasures, but basing your own self worth on what others think of you, or the way they treat you is not healthy. It is better to have a sense of over-confidence in your attitude, rather than be in fear of others. Having more self confidence WILL make you more of a target for other people. Why not simply say "Fuck them, this is my life". You will gain the respect of the people who matter MORE by staying true to yourself. Never pander to the masses or be obsessed with pleasing everyone. Respect yourself first!

I am sure many of you are a fan of Conan Obrien's show on TBS, Conan . However, I am not sure if you are aware of his other, lesser known show Paranormal State, where he plays the part of female pyschic Michelle Belanger. http://www.aetv.com/paranormal-state/meet-investigators/michelle.jsp He does a very good job playing the role of a mysterious pyschic, who helps show director Ryan Buel find paranormal explanations for things in people's homes and lives. I have been aware of this fact, and felt the need to bring this to light after watching a mini marathon of the show on TBS last night. I am highly impressed with the authenticity, and courageousness he displays while playing the part of a woman. He should definetly be nominated for an emmy!

Well people, it looks like I have to teach my classes for the children today. I love teaching the children, I know they are the only few people left that actually look up to me/ respect me. It is the sad truth, that when you are a guitar player, past a certain age, most ladies put what you do on the same level as a hobby like playing video games or something. At least my mommy still believes in me, and all of the precious people who read my blogs. heheh ehh e Right now I am in the middle of my cover art for a concept album I thinking of releasing, I won't go into much detail, but I will tell you that the cover art is being done right now. I haven't decided how many tracks are going to be on it. It is basically going to be a compilation of tracks I have done this year. Expirimental tracks. Think more of what Miles Davis did in the early 70's, except from a guitar player's perspective. I might upload a sample of it once I get the rest of my gear from an associates house.

Well people, it's been a long time since anyone has heard any of my blogs. Myspace basically doesn't work on this antique computer I use anymore. Blame Russel Brand, I think he owns myspace now. Well, I have been looking for a new drummer for my group, the Bad Mics. I had an unfortunate incident yesterday that involved my ad on Craigslist being removed/flagged. Thank God someone was looking out for my interests!  I meant to put a link to my band in the ad, but do you know what I accidently did? I put a link to a photo album of a girl I use to like a lot!!!!!!!!! OH CRAP! It was an accident, I was wondering why my ad got removed, thank God it did. How embarassing!
