no worries

Hello people. Brandon and I checked out a recording studio last night. It was very cool. Then we went to Tim Hortons and got a little something to drink. After that, I spied on all the bands who recorded at GBS studios by watching their videos.

Right now I think I may be getting sick. I have been doing a lot of running around lately. Today I set up my guitar amp in the garage and practiced. It was cold. Sometimes I just don't know what to do with myself!

I hope everyone has a merry Christmas! I will most likely be going over to my grandmothers Christmas day. That means no smoking cigarettes. Lately the urge has been down anyways, I think I may have gotten sick from sharing a cigarrette with someone. No worries though, it hasn't gotten too bad yet! heheh eh.

Hamtramck Korner Bar--- Our Next Show with Chosen by Fate, Father Spectre, and Jeremy Radke

Hello people! I took a long break from writing blogs, but now I am here to inform everyone what is going on with our next gig! We are playing the Hamtramck Korner Bar on August 25th, which is a Friday, so we are hopeful that we can bring out some of our fans! I know we have fans, but they are somewhat scattered throughout the state.  We have some good acts playing with us! I was very impressed by  Chosen by Fate  when we played with them on July 29th, for Indiefest 2017. I especially liked a Pink Floyd song they did with a steel guitar that was all processed to sound psychedelic. All 3 of the guys in this band are really solid players, and the above recordings sadly don't do them justice! I approached them this week about completing our bill that had 3 acts so far, and I am very glad they committed to being the 4th! Make Music Fest 2017 Re-cap

Pete and I had the chance to be a part of Make Music Day- Detroit 2017. We found out about the festival 2 weeks ago, so we signed up, but most of the spots had been taken. We submitted ourselves, but didn't hear anything about it in our emails, or phones. I heard we were playing when I opened a mass email the morning of the festival, reminding performers to check their "Gig Profiles".  I did, and subsequently found out we were confirmed to play at 2 different times and places during the festival. Unfortunately, these times were not the best slots, but we talked about it that morning and decided we were obliged to play both times since we had signed up. Both places were pretty much empty. The first gig was at the Old Miami at 1pm on an  outdoor stage. My amps weren't miked up and I had some tuning issues. The second gig was in Hamtramck at a dance studio, we had better acoustics there, but my kapo broke on the second song, and I broke a bass string on the 3rd! ...
