Mortified Beyond Belief

One of the keys to a stress free life style is having a sense of self-respect for who YOU are as a person. This means you can avoid validating yourself on the opinion of others, which is often what causes a lot of stress in people's social lives! Having a good social life can be one of life's pleasures, but basing your own self worth on what others think of you, or the way they treat you is not healthy. It is better to have a sense of over-confidence in your attitude, rather than be in fear of others. Having more self confidence WILL make you more of a target for other people. Why not simply say "Fuck them, this is my life". You will gain the respect of the people who matter MORE by staying true to yourself. Never pander to the masses or be obsessed with pleasing everyone. Respect yourself first!

I am sure many of you are a fan of Conan Obrien's show on TBS, Conan . However, I am not sure if you are aware of his other, lesser known show Paranormal State, where he plays the part of female pyschic Michelle Belanger. http://www.aetv.com/paranormal-state/meet-investigators/michelle.jsp He does a very good job playing the role of a mysterious pyschic, who helps show director Ryan Buel find paranormal explanations for things in people's homes and lives. I have been aware of this fact, and felt the need to bring this to light after watching a mini marathon of the show on TBS last night. I am highly impressed with the authenticity, and courageousness he displays while playing the part of a woman. He should definetly be nominated for an emmy!

Hello precious precious audience! I am glad you took the time to read my page today!  Today I did some business in Ypsilanti, then I headed to Ann Arbor to check up on the music store, Music-go-round! My favorite all time place! There I ran into my good friend Randy, and solicited his email so I could send him more FREE music! Well today might be a good day for good ald Matty! It turns out I will be most liekly hanging out with a very good old friend, former musicial associate, Walter P!!!!!! It should be very fun! Today my sister and I will be taking some pictures for our Christmas show DECEMBER 17TH at the Tap Room in downtown Ypsilanti. I hope they turn out! Today I have just been playing guitar, as usual, and listening to those tracks I am thinking about releasing to the world. I don't know though. Putting stuff online may hurt the marketability of my career. People often want what they can't have? I don't know, it is weird. I am also very very excited about our show on DECEMBER 3RD in South Lyon, our auxillary musicians/band will be there. Time to bring the heat. Well people, it looks like I have to teach my classes for the children today. I love teaching the children, I know they are the only few people left that actually look up to me/ respect me. It is the sad truth, that when you are a guitar player, past a certain age, most ladies put what you do on the same level as a hobby like playing video games or something. At least my mommy still believes in me, and all of the precious people who read my blogs. heheh ehh e Right now I am in the middle of my cover art for a concept album I thinking of releasing, I won't go into much detail, but I will tell you that the cover art is being done right now. I haven't decided how many tracks are going to be on it. It is basically going to be a compilation of tracks I have done this year. Expirimental tracks. Think more of what Miles Davis did in the early 70's, except from a guitar player's perspective. I might upload a sample of it once I get the rest of my gear from an associates house.

Well people, it's been a long time since anyone has heard any of my blogs. Myspace basically doesn't work on this antique computer I use anymore. Blame Russel Brand, I think he owns myspace now. Well, I have been looking for a new drummer for my group, the Bad Mics. I had an unfortunate incident yesterday that involved my ad on Craigslist being removed/flagged. Thank God someone was looking out for my interests!  I meant to put a link to my band in the ad, but do you know what I accidently did? I put a link to a photo album of a girl I use to like a lot!!!!!!!!! OH CRAP! It was an accident, I was wondering why my ad got removed, thank God it did. How embarassing!
