Mortified Beyond Belief

Well people, I am very proud of myself today. I didn't spend any money today even though I got paid, and I cleaned my room, and my office as well! I found two microphone cables, they still smell brand new, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that they work! One of these days I am going to take apart the ones that don't work and re-solder them together. I'll be using multiple mics on the drums for rock city band recordings in no time! The Rock city band DID record this week. They recorded an epic track that is really like two songs in one, AND it has lyrics, so that almost means more than what they usually do (recording several instrumentals in a day with no lyrics). It has been a very productive week for good old Matty! I also organized my books, damn I sure have accumulated a ton of them! Hello people! Well today is a very glorious day, the weather is starting to warm up again! I hope everyone is having an excellent week! I am still sticking to my plan of no social functions this week. The reason having mostly to do with my money situation at this moment! I am very disappointed in gas prices right now, they shot up over night! My mom very intelligently advised me to gas my car up on Monday, she could tell by the stock market that gas prices would go up this week. She is a very special, charming lady. I am going to cut her grass today! The weather should be fine for it. Well today I lost self control once more and uploaded another track. This version was recorded when I breifly set up my operation in nyc. That place is very expensive. I hope I visit there sometime soon, but alas, my money situation isn't that good, like I said. I have thought of moving back there. I can, but it would involve liquidating some of my musical assets for the journey, which I hate to do!

Hello people! Well today was a very good productive day for me! I got about 4 hours practice in so far! I was using my secret weapon alot today. I decided it was time to start wearing earplugs. Hello people! Well today has just been one relaxing day! I also worked out too. I am going to be taking a long break from social activities of any sort. The Rock City band has been begging my ass to let them record again. We can start again on Monday. Oh how I love being in control of the power dynamic! I feel good! Hey people! Well the blog has taken a downturn, not as many posts, but at least I am not embarassing myself as much! Last night I had a very festive evening with my friend Josh! I got pretty drunk! No worries though, I stopped drinking long enough to be sober on the drive home. I am very concientious in that way. I know some people might want to paint me as some sort of alcholiic, because yes I do like to drink during the day sometimes. Sometimes I like to already be a little drunk before my friends come over. I believe I owe it to them to be in a good mood if they are going to take the time out of their life to visit me! Hello people! Well last night was a very big success! Very fun indeed, it gives me sort of a second wind! This morninh I went to China Buffet, it was very good. I picked up my friend at 10:30 and went to Adrain Rock City. Now I need to take a nap, but I can't fall asleep. I didn't get to bed last night until 4:30! Hey people! Well it is a very nice day out indeed. Unfortunatley, I have no plans this evening. I tried to have plans last night, but they were stormed out of ann arbor. It sucked. Hey People! Thank you for taking the time to read my blog!  Well the Rock City Band was so busy this week! The studio is such a mess, the house was a disaster, but I cleaned it. I also broke down and did a load of laundry, the clothes are in the dryer. It is unfortunate but the Rock City band will have to resume recording on Monday. The good news is that I will be allowed to use tomorrow as a social gathering day with a few of my friends! Last night that flaky Rock City Band guitar player pissed me off. He was playing his guitar with a beer bottle-- very unprofessional indeed!!!
