bored

Hey people!

Well well well. I happen to be bored at this moment! Friday night, it's allright,  a night inside is just what the doctor ordered when you spent most of your day doing music stuff. I recorded another song today. I enjoyed listening to it, I lost track of time in what I was doing. I used the organ. Too bad I might have to re-record a guitar on it though, it recorded kind of low and now I have to mix everything low to it. I like the take i got though so I might not.

I am starvin right now! I am so hungry. I wish it wasn't getting late or else I would head to a-drane rock city for some China Buffet! I think it closes at 9 or 8, I don't really know. I love China buffet. I wish I lived in adrian.

Some people may be aware that a group I perform in, the Ill Itches, will be having a record release this Friday at the Marble bar here in Detroit. The band has done several interviews where the interviewer emails the band questions and we each answer them. In one such interview, all of my answers were omitted, and I heard from the other band members the music journalist got mad because I didn't take the interview seriously enough. That time I bought a Guitar for $1 at Guitar Center

When I had just graduated high school, I was still working my job at a grocery store. I made enough money to go guitar shopping. I used to drive from rural Lenawee county to Toledo OH to get to Guitar Center. One day I heard a radio ad for a Guitar Center Labor Day Sale on September 5th, 2005. At this point in my life, Guitar Center was something I had only recently discovered. This ad was extra special... the loud demanding voice on the radio ad claimed Guitar Center was going to be selling guitars for just $1! The night before the sale, I drove down to the Guitar Center and arrived at about 10:30 pm. I began waiting at the front door of the business. I remember texting some of my friends from the grocery store I worked at, they ended up joining me about an hour later. Then, two other small town guys that went to my high school showed up randomly.
