 Well the rock city band has been busy every day this week. I am thinking about firing the guitar player, or maybe just mixing him out of the recordings. Hey people. Well today my wrist hurts a little bit, I think its from having it in an awkward position when I helped move a piano and other stuff yesterday. Today I uploaded a new recording. I am not happy with it at all, but I guess its better than nothing! Then I recorded a new jam too. I am not really tired, I just feel burnt out. heh eh eh eh heh. Hey people! Well well well. I happen to be bored at this moment! Friday night, it's allright,  a night inside is just what the doctor ordered when you spent most of your day doing music stuff. I recorded another song today. I enjoyed listening to it, I lost track of time in what I was doing. I used the organ. Too bad I might have to re-record a guitar on it though, it recorded kind of low and now I have to mix everything low to it. I like the take i got though so I might not. I am starvin right now! I am so hungry. I wish it wasn't getting late or else I would head to a-drane rock city for some China Buffet! I think it closes at 9 or 8, I don't really know. I love China buffet. Hello people! Damn, today was a very busy day for me. I started to record at 11 am, and stopped at around 6pm. Well some of that time was spent re-listening to what a did, and being an over indulgent guitar player squeezing the crap out of my strings! I have to admit people, I am not always in the best mood, recording can be very draining and suck out all your energy! None of what I did is perfect, I guess that's another reason why I consider the process emotionally draining! I get to the point where it is like I don't want to hear any music at all, I just want to read or something. I was thinking about uploading what I did, I don't know though. I am keeping my shit to myself for now. The song is 12 minutes long. I don't know if I can handle hearing it again to mix it. blah blah blah. Hey People! Well today seems like a day meant for practicing. Last week was allright for practice, but I spent more time trying to record new music. I think today is the day I finally remember to take my guitar with me to the music store so I can FINALLY get the right size whammy bar for it! It has been 2 years since I've had a whammy of my own. I can't wait to get one. Yeah, it's going to cose me 20 bucks, but I'll thank myself later! I need one, especially after listening to this:

Hey People! Yesterday I woke up and my fingers hurt so much from practicing, so I decided to take a day off from the studio, although I still practiced some blues for an hour or so while I listened to my mom talk. It's funny, I can fool both my mom and my guitar into thinking I am paying attention to them, usually I am really just thinking about China Buffet. (joke) The reason my fingers hurt so much is that I played the bass al la Larry graham the other day. He is so cool. He even has his own cereal named after him! Well, I like to imagine that, but I know its not really true! He should be on the box of wheaties AND Golden Grahams! He is also a hell of a motivational speaker! Well, yesterday was my day off. Hello people! What an insane practice I had today! I had Billy over on the drums, and we switched off wit his friend kevin on drums! We did 4 hours straight of jamming/going through the official Bad Mics set list. We almost video taped it, but we were too lazy! The audio would have been bad anyways. I am also working on a new song, sometimes writing songs can be very tedious, unless it's a ballad, which I can write all day long! We will be praciticing again this week! Very productive day for good old matty. Now it is time for me to make myself some eggs! I am seriously very tired! Very tired indeed. I hope I can wake up early enough to catch my favorite show tomorrow, the Lucy Show! It's on at 8:30 I caught the end of this mornings episode, Joan Crawford was the guest. Hey people! Well I just got done teaching today! A very sweet young lady brought me in some candy, another girl gave me a Valentine after I pretended to cry because I told them  I didn't get any! So long story short... it was the best Valentines day ever!  I am starving right now! I had a very successful man-date with my friend Alex on Sunday. We went to china buffet AND saw 2 movies! I love Adrian. Adrian Rock City is what they call it! The China buffet there is only 5 BUCKS all day long! even for dinner! MJR theatres are only 5 bucks during the matinee! I love popcorn! Adrian Rock City also has a starbucks, a sweet mall where there are hardly any people, several delicious chinese restaurants, and a delicious ice cream place called the spotted cow! I wish I lived in Adrian! I love Adrian Rock City! I hope I get to go there again sometime soon! Hello people. I found out last night Whitney Houston died right before we went on at the gig. Very sad news. Only 48 years old! Some of my earliest memories of music are listening to "how will I know?" in my moms van while I drank fountain diet coke from the gas station, I was 7 or 8! So last night I dedicated a song to Whitney Houstons spirit. A song that I thought I could imagine her singing, because let's face it, my voice isn't that great! We played it extremely slow last night. Slower than this recording. Hello people! Today I had practice with the fabulous Bill Hunt on drums. We practiced for a few hours it was a lot of fun. Sadly though, I accidentally broke one of my delay pedals in an overzealous burst of creativity. I am trying to fix it right now. It's not coming along so good. The switch fell off. I did become slightly aroused when I realized how much it looked like a nipple! Interesting. I also came to the conclusion that my basement smells a little like pee. Maybe there is a leaky pipe somewhere, who knows? Too much information! I hope some of you are thinking about coming to the show at the i-rock! Please come! Hey people, I am slightly drunk again. That's the only time I think writing these blogs are funny! I had a cussing fit today, which hardly ever happens since I have been getting better at having a more positive attitude. The thing that got me pissed was my seafoam green stratocaster. It is a Fender 50's reissue made in Japan, which means it has the kind of tuners that have the little slants instead of the modern day holes, so when I went to put new strings on it, the strings kept popping out! That's also not it, the screws that hold the tuners in place must have worn out the screw holes in the headstock, so the small b and e string tuners weren't secure, and they kept on moving until I ransacked my room in a drunken rage for some spare ones that fit. And to top it all off, the ball ends of the string were EXTREMELY hard to remove inside the bridge. They sure have improved the practicality of the fender strat DESIGN since the 50's! Hey People!, I really feel like going to the China Buffet today! I don't know though, it is kind of akward going there by yourself! Perhaps I'll get some of the buffet to go, it is actually very cheap per pound! The only other thing is that Chinese makes me tired for the rest of the day. FYI, if I make typos, it is not because I am a dumbass, I am not used to typing on a fancy laptop! I got a can of Bud Light to tide me over until I decide if I am getting lunch out tonight or not. I AM VERY TIRED OF EATING EGGS! I accidentally ate 8 of them in a drunken stupor last night.  They were good, but we have to think about our cholesterol! Hey People!!!!!! Well today I have sunken to new lows. I was minding my own business, and my mother brough me over some delicious food!!!! 2 DOUBLE QUARTER POUNDERS WITH CHEESE from McDonalds (r).!!!! I ate them both! Roughly 200 percent of my daily protien requirements, and 1500 calories, and I am still feeling like eating more! Before my mom showed up I was practicing. I watched the Maddonna halftime show on youtube to motivate me...... sometimes really shitty liysynching from a mediocre no talent brad just really pumps me up!!!! Holy shit... I may have to delete this blog later on. Seriously, IT SEEMED like the video was 45 minutes long. I was practicing the drums and I stopped during the video... and it was still playing! HOLY CANOLI!!!!!! I wish Prince could do the superbowl every year. Today I wave practiced about 4 hours so far, I might need to practice more, but I am supposed to meet my mom at 8 clock for some wings at JRS. That place is overstaffed by the way, HOW THE HELL ...

Well people, I am no longer affected by alcohol. Yesterday I ended up practicing 7 hours by myself! I know people think I am lazy sometimes. I mean, I can't really blame them. It's not like I made myself practice that long, I just happened to do it yesterday. It doesn't seem like work to me! I enjoy it too much, and time flys when you are drinking! I wish I could practice right now, but unfortunatley, I am not the only one home and I like to play very loud! I need to get my HUGE ASS AMP from my friend Jake's house. He's been missing in action for a while! I miss it so much! Yesterday I hooked up two amps, I really want to hook up 3 at once! Today I had to fight the temptation to buy this sweet ass 3 pedal pack that I know they have at Best Buy! It is suc a good deal! Yes music go round is still my favorite place, but this pedal pack comes with a standalone tuner, a distortion, and most attractive to me...... another digital delay! I want to hook up 3 different delay...

Hey people, I just took a break from practice. I am still a little bit drunk, but it's ok. I finally got around to recording my Activia diary.
