Mortified Beyond Belief

Hello people, this is just a friendly reminder that the show with Hit Society is Saturday, February 11th at the I-rock in Detroit. Unfortunatley, that cold I mentioned a couple blogs back, almost disappeared, but then came back on stronger than ever! So I am very sick right now. That didn't stop me from recording a couple new songs today. Sometimes working on stuff can take your mind off being sick. I have been thinking about things a lot lately, and I think it might be time to say goodbye to the YMCA, I am thinking about quitting. I want to be free so I can visit my friends in New York. I am at odds right now. I feel like Michigan is the worst environment for creative types like myself. Well, maybe not ALL of Michigan, but rural Michigan. Yes I am thinking about leaving. If you know anyone in the market for a vintage Gibson Melody Maker, let me know. I'll give a hell of a deal on it because I need some funds to get out of here! ----Matt

Hey people, I am now done with Christmas! (I am sure most of you guys are too!) Yesterday I bought a very good cd called "The Best of Chuck Berry: the Millenium Collection". It was very reasonably priced. Yes, I am a fan of the oldies. I identify with Chuck a lot, he's the kind of guy I imagine myself being like someday. He's kind of devilish, but charming! I aspire to be like him someday! His picture on the cover is so cool, he's all sweaty and shit. He didn't have a single hit until he was 30 yearsold, and his first number one hit was in 1972 with the novelty song "My dinga-ling". Hey people! I hope everyone is having a decent Christmas Eve! I still have one donut leftover for Santa. I posted a little video I made of myself playing guitar in the garage. I bought the camera today at Family Dollar, it was 10 dollars off from 30, so it was only 20 bucks! I hope it turns out to be a good investment. It was a last minute purchase. I did have fun learning how to use it today. Maybe I'll get my brother to help me shoot a video. I don't know though, I don't think many people at all watched it. hehe he he he he. I am not sure if I will be hanging with my friend  tonight. My stupid older sister is having her BF over tonight. Why does she always have to ruin everything? I am blocking her from my posts on facebook, she already alerted my mom that I put down my family was fighting. What a bitch! Hello people, my family is fighting on Christmas Eve! At least I got some donuts from Jerry's Market today. My cold, the symptoms changed a little bit this morning, but I think they are only a little worse. I am trying to trick myself into not being sick. The good news is that my guitar sounds pretty good in the garage, it is very cold out there though. I am sorry if I missed hanging out with anyone last night (walter), I decided to stay in bed and try to get over the cold. It really is no big deal, it could be soooo much worse. The last time I was sick, was strangely, last Christmas! I might be hanging out with my good friend later on tonight. My horoscope says that this Christmas eve should be very good for my romantic life! Hopefully that means we'll run into some ladies! ehheh eh eh he he h heh e. That's better than the alternative! Hello people. Brandon and I checked out a recording studio last night. It was very cool. Then we went to Tim Hortons and got a little something to drink. After that, I spied on all the bands who recorded at GBS studios by watching their videos. Right now I think I may be getting sick. I have been doing a lot of running around lately. Today I set up my guitar amp in the garage and practiced. It was cold. Sometimes I just don't know what to do with myself! I hope everyone has a merry Christmas! I will most likely be going over to my grandmothers Christmas day. That means no smoking cigarettes. Lately the urge has been down anyways, I think I may have gotten sick from sharing a cigarrette with someone. No worries though, it hasn't gotten too bad yet! heheh eh.  matt
