Mortified Beyond Belief

The last two weeks were very busy for the band. We played PJ's just last night, recorded a radio show, and released a new song. Koji has a 2nd child on its way that is due any day now. He had to miss our last two outings. I missed his bass a lot, especially last night. I think being a band is being willing to prove yourselves as survivors, playing shows any way, by any means. Sometimes we can't all make the shows. It it painful to be less than perfect though. So.... this is why the band is going to be rehearsing harder and more intense than ever before to get up to the standards of quality that I imagine in my mind. I consider the show last night to be a huge failure on my part, for reasons I would probably be better off not saying!!!!!!! Hello people. Today has been like many other days in the past, I have experienced something that is very common. People on craigslist posting misleading or ripp off ads for musical instruments! Check this next posting out: Fender Stratocaster with Amp, Case, and Strap - $475 (Carleton) 475 dollars. Now there really isn't anyway this could be that great of deal, even if it was what it said it was. A  used Fender strat made in mexico will usually cost between 200-300 dollars used, but that doesn't mean that people don't try to get more for them, which I will elaborate on later! Hello people, today I decided to get an icecream cone at Mcdonalds. I got one dipped in chocolate for 1.39. It tasted really good, but I have a huge problem with something. I have had Mc Donald's Ice Cream cones in 3 different states where my family has lived, South Carolina, Wisconsin, and Michigan. I remember getting really big icecream cones, not all the time but they never made them small. Now whenever I get one, it doesn't matter where, they are always TOO SMALL! I am not an idoit, I know they have a little picture of what the cone size is supposed to be be, they have had that for years, and most of the time it was disregarded. Now it seems though, they are being really strict with their sizes.  I remember getting a few ice cream cones this big back in the good old days. Hello people. Well today I think I may be forced to take it easy, I have one eye that is a little red/infected... I took the contact that was in it out. Well its been a while. Sadly my absence from this blog has not marked the end of my computer addiction. Lately I have been on it too much. It truly is a waste of time. You know what we are talking about.... facebook. I know they added that new feature "close friends", now I only get notifications if one of my friend's posts a picture. You don't know how many times it said I had 8 notifications and it is stuff I don't care about. I think the fb is handy because I have no cell phone. It has been a while since the band has played, so I am looking forward to the party I am having on July 26th with two other bands, Star Destroyer and Avante Garden. I tried to book a show at Woodruffs the same day, but they thought their pathetic Karaoke night was more important. Karaoke is for losers!
